My BFF

My BFF Liz is someone whom I admire greatly and have from the first day I ever met her. Her courage and inner strength, her amazing artistic talent, her beautiful southern "grace under fire" ability that eludes me so often...and her ability to find funny, the same things I find funny. I could never ask for a better friend. And yet this is what I found in my email inbox the other day. It made me very teary eyed. I wanted to share it with you in case you haven't seen it before and would like to send it to your BFF.

Reminded me of you.

I Think This Applies To You

A good woman is proud of herself. She respects herself and others. She is aware of who she is. She neither seeks definition from the person she is with, nor does she expect them to read her mind. She is quite capable of articulating her needs. A good woman is hopeful. She is strong enough to make all her dreams come true. She knows love, therefore she gives love. She recognizes that her love has great value and must be reciprocated. If her love is taken for granted, it soon disappears. A good woman has a dash of inspiration, a dabble of endurance. She knows that she will, at times, have to inspire others to reach the potential God gave them.

A good woman knows her past, understands her present and moves toward the future. A good woman knows God. She knows that with God the world is her playground, but without God she will just be played. A good woman does not live in fear of the future because of her past. Instead, she understands that her life experiences are merely lessons, meant to bring her closer to self knowledge and unconditional self love. Girl Smile.....YOU KNOW YOU HAVE IT GOING ON!

I just sent this to a good woman ................why don't you?

This is a wonderful piece to share with a BFF (is this the BFF you mentioned on my blog??)...and thank you for the cute freebie.

I also want to say (((thank you))) for saying that I, along with your BFF are heroes. That is such a wonderful way to be seen...and I hope in my quest and my journey that I am laying the foundation for those who receive this news after I do -- that it can be done, that you don't have to "give up" when diagnosed with breast cancer. You keep going and find the joy in life. My affirmation on my breast cancer blog is what I believe -- "cancer did not hold me back -- it set me free" -- and it has.

Bless you much Gail.

Hi Gail-what a nice message and sweet image! Your blog is so pretty, and YOU are so busy. Hey, work question, is there an easy way for me to convert my blog banner to an etsy banner without changing anything? Thanks, your humble "employee."
