Studio Makeover -Part Deux

As promised here are some more photos from the studio makeover. It's funny, I knew there would be a big mess and I knew I would have to live with it until we were done and I knew that it was temporary and worth it to have new studio. Yet it still drove me CRAZY!

This has been the state of my dining room table since the day after Christmas ACK!

And my computer room - I didn't even take a picture of the hallway...you get the idea!

But lookee, part of my nice new loooong work counter :-)

And the last part of my nice new looong counter and shelving :-)

The vintage valances I purchased years ago and had sitting in my fabric stash all this time :-)

The new Roman shades for privacy and sun control

And then back to another big mess in order to start finding a place for all the "stuff"

But I am almost done now and I will post pictures of it when I finish :-)
Big, big mess...worth it, worth it, worth it!!! :-)

Its going to be soooo nice!! Have you ever gotten...say your punches, all in order...everything just right...then you find a couple more..and there isn't room!! urghhh.and you have find another place for them ALL to fit. lol. Have a question...what kind of paper is the best for printing out "your" papers...like for Pams class. Thanks, Laurie

Thanks Debi! And yes Laurie! I know exactly what you're talking about...and punches are awkward to store to begin with. LOL
As far as th epaper goes sicne I pirint on a laser printer it would be a bit different than what you would use on an ink jet but if I were printing on an ink jet what I've liked in the past is Epsons Premium Presentation paper Matte 44lb. Hope this helps. :-)

Gail,
Your room is coming along nicely! Your counter is to die for and I like your vintage valance. Don't you just love it when something you've had for awhile works out just right? And you're right - it's all gonna be worth it!

Thanks Susan and YES I love when that happens! There were so many things that went right in this room that I knew it was meant to be.

What a great space you're going to have! I'm working on mine too...slowly. I'm a bit envious of your counters and shelves! Can't wait to see it when it's finished! ~Lori

GREAT mess Gail!!! lol!!! the only "good" thing about a mess like that is knowing that it all has it's place and will look even better when all is where it belongs!!

The studio looks wonderful and I love the window treatments!

Love it Gail! You will have so much inspiration in that space. You will need to submit pics to Studios or Where Women Create when you're done. Well deserved for sure.

Ohhhhhhh Gail...your new studio (creative scatterment or not) is a dream! I especially love the long work area.

I am really enjoying your class. Your voice is so soothing on the video and it makes me feel like I have done an hour of yoga when the class is over. Relaxing!!

Thank you for popping by for a visit today :)
