Want to Take a Studio Tour?

So my studio makeover is finally done! Yay! And I know I promised pictures but I changed my mind. I have a new toy so I thought it would be fun to practice using it and give you an actual studio tour at the same time. So I hope you will forgive the videographer, it is her first video attempt and there is definite room for improvement. ;-)

Before you play the video I suggest you scroll down and turn off the play list on your right...otherwise your ears might rebel on you!

.....here we go :-)

ooohhh how much fun was this?!? I felt like I was in that room with you Gail -- mind you, we'd have been stepping on each other!!! :)

Send me Mr. Shabby ... please!!!!! I could put that man to work (lol!!).

You did give me a good idea...I've got a shelving stand like the one you have used upside down on the wall..what a brilliant idea! Mine is standing on the floor in my family room but it would look MUCH better on the wall in my studio!!! ♥

Oh Gail...what a great space! You've got a lot of really cool stuff! Seeing out your windows makes me miss the country so much, not that I needed help missing it. You've really brought your space together well. Tell Mr. Shabby I said nice work!!! ~Lori

How fun, Gail!!... Thank you for the wonderful studio tour! :) I'm amazed at how much creativity you have fit into one very teeny-tiny space!

I hope you spend many joyful hours creating in your very own, made-for-you art space!! :)

Blessings!!

Hi Gail! Thank you so much for filming your new studio! I enjoyed it immensely! Your home reminds me so much of ours...we too live in a "shabby cottage;" ours is a little over 100 years old with lots of little rooms...and I love it! You have a gorgeous view...I hope you film more when spring arrives!

Hi Gail~
I found you through Dawn too. What would we do without Dawn? I love her! And her work.
To your studio~~ It is perfect. I love the way you have it set up and the colors are so restful. I think anyone could create something in there. I also loved the painting on that suitcase. I paint roses too. Yours was great. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Hope you will stop by for a visit, you are always welcome.
Smiles and have a great weekend!

Great idea to put the narrow shelves behind the door! No space should go to waste in a studio.

I just love your studio and your narrative on what all you did. You are so lucky to have Mr. Shabby. You gave me a lot of ideas since I am in the process of reworking my studio - it is taking a lot of time because I hate moving everything out.
